hi guys
i wanted to know if i could feed koi pellets to my aros. the hikari pellets are too expensive out here.i also feed them market prawn and frozen krills. but they need a varied diet.so will koi pellets be fine
thank you

If your aro will accept it then it should be fine as you feed your aro with prawn and krills anyway. You have to train your aro to accept it, as most aro won't accept pellets that are non-meaty taste like. So it will still be a waste of money if the aro won't eat it.

i will try to get a smaller box first and see if they accept pellets. thnx for your replies guys

dont think anything wrong

i feed all my fish pond pellets with market shrimp silversides and raw fish fillets that i catch out of the river. silver really hits the raw fillets but will eat the pellets also. he understands if he doesnt eat the pellets he will be hungry for the next 24 hours.

have any of you tried feeding chopped squids.i got some chopped and cleaned squids from the market and the aros ate it really well. is it a good diet or i should not feed them. and im going to get the koi pellets too.

dunno about squid if its ok then you stuff 1 pellet inside of the piece of squid
