Feeding Largemouth mice,safe??

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
You could do it but I wouldn't do it live. They might bite the insides of thier mouths if they go down head first.

Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!! Cannot wait to start feeding him pinkies, and crays, and inject the occasional earthworm with vita-chem to defeat HITH, but i read on here that if you give em more than .2ml that they start twitching, not good, but vita-chem is a good all around vitamin, but dont admin. through the water,it dilutes and is useless, but to avoid feeder-born deficiencies, supliment your natives with vita-chem or another vite:):):):):):):):):):)):))):):):):):):):) Happy Native Keeping

im sure bass know how to handle eating mice, anglers use mice plastics to catch bass in lilly pad areas. just feed him whatever he'll eat. if it fits in his mouth, it'll go through his digestion system. in the wild, they eat so much crap we dont even know of. if he can eat crayfish, which is basically like eating a rock, im sure he can eat a mouse. go on youtube. some guy feeds his large mouth bass like 3 complete adult mice. no problems.

How about injecting the ocasional earthworm with vita-chem,do you guys have any comments on that????? I heard it was ok,do you think he'll grow more robust with that????:):):):):):):):):):):):):):)(Largemouth Bass)

just feed him worms, no need to inject them. you are not trying to catch him anymore, he's your buddy. jus keep him well fed n plump. he'll grow as fast as he should. no need to put him on steroids.

Not steroids ethnics, but just providing some vites that are not naturally present in these foods,i'm shure he'll live without them, but vita-chem has all the nutrients that might be missing,i just want him 110% healthy.I used to supplement my oscars and uaru, and they never got HITH again.............just want my native to be getting better than what he got in the wild:):):):):):):):):):):):):):)

I've seen a LMB eat a baby duck, It was Sad.

:headbang2 :banhim: :headbang2 :headbang2 :headbang2 :headbang2 :headbang2 :headbang2 Stop crying and feed it Mice... i Fed my Arowanna Pinkies at like 12 ".. im sure that a LMB could handle mice with ease... They'll eat anything with that Giant mouth...

for all the people that dotn want to just help this man out......

there are several legit reasons for feeding a lmb a mouse!
1. the definition of out hobby is to keep fish in the best possiblr habitat, that means a complete diet, so if bass eat mice in the wild they do it for a reason and therefore if it was my fish in MY tank it would defienetly get a mouse at least once a month
2. the nurtients found in a mammalian flesh are unique in the way that there are a more complete scource of protiens
3. bass are hunters, to derpive a predator the right to be a predator is sad, if it wants to hunt then LET IT HUNT!!!!!
