That's what I did.

How to be completely sure it's chemical free though?

I guess you can't really. i got it from my back yard. We don't use any chemicals so I was pretty sure it was okay.

also you have to be 100% sure there have been no chemicals sprayed on the ground

I may be over or under thinking this, But if there were chemicals sprayed on the ground would it not kill the worms that are there. Or would the worms just absorb the chemicals. Seems to me that if the chimcals are going to be strong enough to hurt the fish. Then it would hurt or kill the worms. Just a thought. Maybe it deppends on what type of chemical.

Works for me :)

It may not kill your fish immediately, but over time it could load up in your fish and kill it. Either way I just would rather not chance is lol

You are forgetting the pyramid rule for ecosystems. If the worms absorb small amounts of chemicals such as pesticides you have to account for the fact that those small amounts in each worm will build up in the fish. Which can cause death and/or sickness.

Ok maks sence, but isn't it the fish's kidneys job to xspell toxins. Ok so i am thinking over time the kidneys will be damaged and not able to xspell the toxins any more. So this is more of a long term problem.

It's perfectly fine. I've done this loads of times with no ill effects. Only reason not to do this is if your yard was doused in pesticides or chemicals. A worm here and there even with chemicals in it won't just kill the fish it takes repeated times over a long time to have any effect. I wouldn't worry about it really, but that's me. People tend to over think things sometimes.
