Great video! I have been thinking about moving to New Zealand for some time now!

Can you give me any links to educate myself a little better on climate, housing costs, etc...?

I know it's wierd but...LOL!

Thanks for sharing the vid!

Maybe start with this. http://www.taranaki.co.nz/

Local regional site. Although NZ is a small place there is a lot of difference in climate between the different areas. Same with housing costs, in the big cities it's expensive, out here in the provinces it's much cheaper. Depends on what you want really.

Cheers

years ago I stayed with friends in Taranaki whose parents had a place in Eltham with a river running through. They had massive eels which used to eat the ducklings-once or twice a year a local Maori used to come and catch the eels. Really amazing to see-if it weren't for my Wife I'd move to NZ tomorrow

yep and a damn beautiful world at that-you're lucky to live in such a country. Also spent some time in Napier-the friends i mentioned moved from Manaia (I think thats the spelling!) to Taradale outside of Napier. Loved Taranaki but it rained a lot (says me being a Pom!)
keep feeding that beast!
