I tried ciclid stick, aro stick, tetra bits, goldfish pellets, shrimp pellets, it takes a bite and split it back out :irked:

I want him to take pellets, so I dont have to steal bloodworms from my dad ;)

my jardini eats everything but still occasionally spits pieces of the pellets back out. i find they usually do this when they are introduced to new unfamiliar food/taste, or when they become bored of the food (if they're stressed/sick they wont even touch the food).
what i usually do is give them a bloodworm cube to open up their appetite and then pellets right after.

pick up some bloodworms at aquapets/lucky at steeles/kennedy. they sell packs of 10 for 20$.

cool...what supplements do you use?
I cant find a link for the powder that i use but I will take a picture of the bottle and post later. you could always soak some aro stix in this...that should work. Make sure that you dont use to much, and dont dump out all the food in the tank at once. make sure that they eat it.
you can gut load your crickets with fish food as well. get a dozen or so crickets, drop a few peices stix, or pellets, and they should be good as well. You can also gut load with carrot, apple ( i like them because of the fiber, aros get constipated easy )...hope this helps.
