Feeding small gar?

I caught 3 fish that I believe are gar if I had to guess the type I would say it was a spotted gar because I saw them around the area. But they are less then a inch so I was wondering what I should feed them and how. I would also appreciate any other suggestions because I have never kept a gar before.

I was also thinking it looks like a sturgeon fry so I would like peoples opinion I know it is hard to tell at this size

Looks like a sturgeon to me just because of the tail shape (Top sticks out) I would check with your local fish and game since in most places sturgeon are protected

tlindsey is right I just double checked and found this reference photo. color and shape is off for a sturgeon fry.

I think Sturgeon have that as well.
