Feeding wild fish to cichlids??

I got 2000 red worms shipped to my house for under 50$. They're in 2 rubber maids in the spare bedroom (don't tell my wife). I feed them with the clippings from my planted tank, and they'll also eat massivore, which is sweet. Just remember to soak them in a cup of water for a few minutes before you feed em to your fish, and they'll release all the dirt into the cup.

I can't imagine buying food to feed to my red wigglers.

Mine eat whatever fruit and veggie scraps that my family produces...as well as junk mail and newspaper (paper) :)

I just pull them from the bin, give them a quick rinse, break them into parts (as needed) and toss them in.

Well I don't buy them food lol. It's just a daily routine to walk around the house with a cupful of massivore to the different tanks and if there's a few pellets leftover I just throw em in the bin on my way by. But I'm constantly clipping plants either from the tanks or from the pond so that's pretty much what the worms eat. There's always plenty of worms to feed all the fish treats, and I throw a handful of worms in each potted plant I have as well. You really see the difference in vegetable production of a plant when there is a constant supply of worm castings in a pot.
