Stay strong guys! Im smoke free about 7 years now. Was a smoker for more than 20.
welbutrin was working for me but turned out I was wickedly allergic. So I went cold turkey. If I can do it anyone can!

everybody keep it up! i quit drinking, heavy drugs, and smoking. i have to say smoking was the hardest of all, which was surprising but shows the power of nicotine.

Wanted to give an update on my process..

As mentioned before I started 2 pills on 2/21 and I think the rule is that after that first week with 2 pills you are suppose to stop smoking.

OK so let me also mention that I thought it would MAKE me stop wanting a cig kinda like an on and off switch. Well I kept waiting for that to happen LOL, never did. So one day at my desk I thought to myself....SELF maybe you ought to try to help the pills along by trying to resist smoking !! So that Thursday I made a real effort on SLOWING down. So I did go a week longer than I was suppose to. On 03/02 I smoked my last cig, and haven't had one since. MAN it is hard but so worth it. My body has a mind of its own, you see when I get bored I smoke so there has been a couple of time today that I have been bored and habitually stood up from my desk and was about to go smoke, THEN it hit me HEY I am quiting....however even if I wanted to I don't have any cigs anyways.
So hopefully I can maintain this for another day and another, then I can move on to weeks, then MONTHS and finally YEARS. I am just taking it 1 day at a time for now.
