Female bonsai laid some eggs

Kind of a progression thread. My bonsai laid eggs yest and just waiting for a few days for the wigglers. It's been 24 hours and she been eating picking out the white fungal ones. I hope some get hatched. It's currently 2 inches and had her since an inch and two months now. I added a male and in a week they spawned.

First pic is when I got it and then she put on her breeding dress and laid some eggs! I'm surprised the male is extremely small as well. Looks like a lot are brown and a small majority and white. Not going to surprised if none make it they're young and first time ever breeding

As of now I divided the male seemed like he was just picking on the eggs not sure eating or what but right now don't need him lol the mother is fanning currently and picking at the eggs.

UPDATE!

So far more than 3/4 eggs are eaten. Not surprised very young pair and first time spawning. I removed the male and female and left the eggs by themselves since they already are fertilized. She was picking on them yest but I thought she was removing the white ones but I guess not. Its been about 48 hours so probably tom or Christmas I should either have wigglers or fungal filled pot lol.

No black dots(eyes) yet but hopefully in a day it should appear or ill know this batch is done with. I bred midas/ red devils and pretty much the same with these guys.
 
I removed the female yest and put her with the eggs. She was almost dead when I found her yest. The male beat her up bad and I mean did a number on her. She's swimming fine and will recover fine seems like. She ate 90 percent of eggs now lol if any do survive I'd be very surprised.

I'm no longer going to breed her with this male. I am trying to find a bonsai male for her so she can be with another bubbly fish lol

For now this project is a wrap I'm delaying it due to injury and will no longer be proceeding. Rather have my female alive.

Anyone know where I can get some? Any vendors on here or local in Chicago?
 
He's small and no kok yet. I wouldn't call him a nice Flowerhorn but now he has tons and tons of green and blue pearls on him. He's a baby he's 3 inches lol and he's not shooting blanks which is surprising because whatever eggs I have now are fertilized

The Black sand takes away his colors and now has his breeding colors on as well.

Probably in 6 months to a year I will be attempting to breed her with my Texas.

Would love some bonsai Texas
