I had my pair housed with the dovii for atleast 1.5years. The purple wolf is very passive and unless harrassed by them. And why would put it in my freezer. The fish would suffer either way.

although i have a female convict who is with out a tail..shorter than yours is but i think she was injured when she was a tiny fry.

I might cause i hate to see her like this. Everytime i look at her i feel like a complete jerk for letting that happened.Do you have the thread link?
Sorry Kai. If you do put down, sedate with clove oil (emulsify) , then add vodka. The fish will not suffer. If you do try to save it, best of luck. Do not feel like a jerk. You are a cool dude with a good heart. Just learn from your experiences early on. Tell you what, if this little fella doesn't make it through, I have that female convict I kept from a couple of batches ago. Believe it or not, it is coloring up amazingly at a little over 2"s. I will give her to you for free.

Yeah clove oil would be better then the freezer. I think will try to save her but if she does not make it.Then i would gladly see that little female. And if you want i have a Amphilophus trimaculatus that is the same size.

still cant find it....found a few threads on AC about it..most people from what i have read have treated with Malfex? and lots and lots of clean water.
As of right i have been treating her with some melafix and and warm tempertured water. And draining some of her water from time to time
