120 gallons should be big enough for those 2 (6' footprint ?)... Just add some targets like schomburgkii thin bars and maybe some nice loaches and they should be ok ..,

It's actually a 4x2x2 footprint. They still seem okay, with some sizing up but no attacking. Maybe I should try some dithers?

Target fish have always helped divert focus in my experience.

Are they the only 2 in the tank? I e never had luck with 2's unless they are a pair.

Wow what beautiful fish. I would keep the Cuban just because I already have festae and I feel like they are more common.

If I were you I would try and keep both of them though, at 7" if they aren't killing each other I think you should be good.

So. they are doing okay still. They are doing some "sizing up" as seen in this picture. So far so good.
