The rtm may be an option, but you won't know till you try and have plan b in place.
I couldn't make our Festae co-habitate with a female Rivulatus (GT) in the 300 so you're already better off than I was in that regard.

Salvini and motas end up around the same adult size so it'll really depend on the individuals.

Absolutely not, thats why I said that once they start courting they will destroy everything and that would be the minimum for a lone pair.

Yeah at the extremes. I've seen lots of 10" salvini and that's about the same for most average motas.

Much different than the difference between a Managuense and a Salvini for example.

On a side note, I've found Loisellei to be much less aggressive parachromis species generally, but once again, depends on the fish. Beautiful species in its own right.

Oh ok. Just always curious as to what others have experienced in different setups.
We keep most of our pairs in 6' setups and need to divide occasionally. Once in a blue moon we add a tankmate to spur along spawning but it's usually very temporary.....
