I totally agree with you......GIRLS DO IT BETTER!!! I mean who keeps the house clean, it's built into us. And fish keeping is no different, I am so in love with doing this hobby and although I am fairly new to fish keeping I am just getting started... I have many plans for expantion in the future. I will make sure to let all you guys know about it.
Jst thought I'd share that it was actually a girl who got me back into fish keeping after not doing it for 10 years. I aquired a 50G tank off her as she was moving and needed to store it somewhere for 3 months. it never left and the fish are all still alive and inmy posession. I find that women are more open to the Idea of learning more about the Hobby and doing it right as to men be more about trial and error. both my last 2 GF's had tanks and loved them (though their guppys and tetras where not my taste) now I just need to find a GF who accepts my hobby and doesn't try to force me to downsize. KEEP IT UP GIRLS WE NEED MORE OF YOU!!!!!

It gets annoying when I go into a fish store with my hubby and the employee talks to him about the fish. Hubby doesn't care, hubby doesn't know anything about fish, I'm the one with the ten tanks, but this fact goes over a lot of people's heads!
Or, when I walk in with my two kids, I can see it on the employee's faces: "Oh boy, here comes another dumb mom looking for a goldfish for "junior's" ten gallon."
and I bet it just rocks their world when you get the can opener out for the can of fish whooop butt

To top it off we placed a 55g oscar tank beside my babies crib and you shoulda seen her watch the fishies in the middle of the night!
edit:the oscar was moved to a 180g when it grew big enough
