My first fish were Blood Parrots.. they were given to me along with a 55g.. that's how it all started..

Started with a 29 gallon and a batch of free convict cichlids given to me by a friend when I was like 12. I didn't even know what they were for years. I really had no idea what I was doing at that age and I'm amazed they lived so many years. (Nearest 'fish store' was Walmart which was a 30 min drive)

When I was 9 I really wanted fish. My mom told me I could have one goldfish for every A on my report card. I got 3 A's, a glass fish bowl and 3 little feeders from a store called Pet Haven. I still remember the feeling of pride I had as I walked out carrying that glass bowl.
My love for fish exploded and I began learning all I could and getting larger tanks as I could. That was 26 years ago.
 
With the exception of grandma's goldfish tank when we lived together, My first fish are a true percula clown, blue damsel, and scooter blenny. Since February, when I got the tank, the scooter has died and the damsel been given up for adoption after beating the piss out of my (at the time) new flame angel. Dolly's not goin anywhere though! lol I'm lovin every minute of it!!

no longer have them then? i've seen some huge convicts (chris has seem them too, pet time) that have to be pretty old for convicts
