I'm glad too man! The female I got from you is pretty nice also, I wish I had another tank and mate for her as well. I can see her potential color and she would look awesome in breeding dress. I'm pretty sure she would have a brighter red than the female I have right now. I guess it's for the better that this pair isn't related though. The two females keep flaring at each other through the divider, If I can catch a good pic I'll post it up.
Just a quick update, I put the male on the other end of the divider because his mate kept moving him to the corner. He watches through the divider. I had to move the fry to a 5 gallon because the mom moved them right next to the divider and I seen a few become lunch. I did leave about 25 percent of the fry with the mom as JK47 suggested, well see how those ones do. My first time siphoning fry and I had no casualties so that's good. I used a half inch diameter hose and kept the bucket decently level with the suction end of it for a slow siphon. This whole breeding process is pretty neat.
