Festae grow outs

i have mine in a 30 gallonn with other 2 inch fish so far no aggresion

I'm not worried about the syno getting hurt its the other way around... He can take a beating he has been in with Salvini, RD, Jag, Loiselli... I think ill notice signs of torture before he is dead and separate him and donate him to anyone willing to get him(when the time comes!)

Nope mine don't school... each of them has a small territory and they attack each other if any of them comes close.

you are lucky then, i had about 15-20 tiny <.5in fry in a 20g long which is 30inx12in (same as a 29g) and it was planted with caves and everything and still the dominant one picked off the lowest ones in the hierarchy, one by one. he would focus his attention on the smallest till it bloated and died and then would move his attention to the next smallest one, etc. by the time they were close to an inch i only had a couple left so i separated all of them into their own little sections, then after a couple weeks thought i would try it again without dividers and "he" killed off the couple of others so that only "he" was left and this was all before he was a full inch long (by the way the ones in the middle of the hierarchy mainly schooled together and only had little chases here and there, it was when one separated as dominant that he picked them all off)

what fish are you willing to donate because if your talking about your baby festae ill be gladely to take him lol
 
LOL no i was talking about my Synodontis

I'm sure when the RT's get too big they will beat it to death. Right now it is 8-9" and they are 2" so they leave Godzilla ALONE! I'm afraid this probably wont last long though.

Where did you get your Festae?
