Festae in Community

I agree with MP, a 125 with all those large boisterous fish is a bit wimpy sized, and would be a problem.
If you had started them all off together as juvies, then it may have worked, but to add the festae later, or at different times reduces successful division of a fairly limited territory.
To me, a 90 is a temporary grow out size tank for festae, maybe until the male reaches 9" (about half grown).
 
I keep a large male and female in my American cichlid tank and they do fine. As long as nothing bothers them then they leave everything alone.
I have a 7x2x2 foot tank which holds around 600-700 litres
 
Hey I have a 240gallon. It has a 6inch gt, 5 inch freddy, jd, synspilum and a 3inch male and female festae. The festae are growing sooooo slowly compared to the rest is this normal? Right now the gt runs the tank and I think it's a good dominate one at the moment as it keeps the peace.
