Festae or Ornatum?

I went Festae because they're easier to breed and prettier in my opinion. I have both. I have also read that Ornatum are difficult to breed. Mine are still rather small. I don't agree with the post about their behavior though. Mine are no more aggressive, or less personable than any other common big CA.
I had the same dilemma last year. Festae's are real nice. They are somewhat rare too, but not on this site.
I love challenges so I went with Ornatums. You don't see them around much - I think because they are next to impossible to spawn.
Go with your gut, but you should know if you go Ornatum - it might be Jessica Biel with a adamantium chastity belt.
Festae here myself, but I wouldn't pass up a chance to try the ornatum at some point if I had the space.

Unfortunately, I am no closer to making my decision haha. Both species are splendid looking. Eventually it may hinge on whether I will be able to sex them and pick out a male and a female on the day they arrive, because these will be 4-6" specimens and I can only afford two, so I will have to do a forced pairing. And since ornatum seem almost impossible to sex based on colouration, I might be forced to get the festae instead. Either way I'm sure I'll be happy. I think...
That made me chuckle lol. I remember you posting a similar poll a few months ago. How big are your ornatum now and how are they in terms of temperament and personality?
I've seen videos of Mel's pair, staggeringly beautiful fish. Are yours more aggressive with one another than most other central americans (such as Parachromis)?
I voted ornatum because if you can spawn them you will be accomplishing something not commonly done. Both are worthy fish and a challenge but festae is readily available. Good luck with your choice.
