It's stressed right now and not eating as it is, moving it to a tank without tankmates it the most responsible thing you could do.. Agreed on treating it stat for internals.
 
Well, the other side of that coin is if one fish in a tank is showing signs of parasites, you should just treat all the fish, even if they're not currently showing signs. You could still remove it in quarantine it, but you should treat its old tankmates as well.
RD. has been experimenting with a new treatment for internal parasites that has shown really promising results. Epsom salt infused food along with Epsom salt in the water column. It's gentle too.
 
k now hat everyone agrees i will put it to a different tank, and will melafix be a good medicine to use

the festae almost looks like it has heater burn rather than a cut. as for the ornatum if it is wild caught try prazi pro i always treated my wid caught pirahnas . also you can use metro +,or jungle parasite meds..they work for internal and external parasites use some epson salt in the tank or thaw some blood worms in epson salt treated water and then freeze and drop in the tank and see if they eat it
 
thanks but is it safe to use different types of meds at 1 time , also i heard your not supposed to use salt while using meds, correct me if i am wrong plz
 
i use prazi pro and metro+ with epson salt when i had a break out of internal parasites with my festae. i treated the tank with those 3 ,and i also mixed those 3 with the food i was feeding i lost no fish and i had no other tank to put my sick fish in so all my fish were treated like they were sick,and i did not lose 1 fish ,and now my tank is healthy with jags breeding ,and a gt and a cuban breeding .. all my fesate turned out to be male:(. i all honesty there will be 100 different opinions . what worked for me might not work for the next person..
