note sure never owned either.according to the labels on the meds it says it would be safe to use with other meds.. as for epson salt it just aides in digestion and making the fish a bit hungry. tank salt i use everytime i change water. i have only used the epson salt when there was a internal parasite issue. same with prazi pro and metro. come to think of it i have use jungles parasite clear with prazi and metro with the epson salt. my rapheal cats never died .

When used correctly, epsom salt does much more than just aid in digestion, and its dirt cheap compared to medications from your LFS. It's also safe for all species of fish.

Then I guess you'll have to treat with metro or Jungle PC as suggested above. The longer that you wait, the more severe it will become.
I've used Jungle and Epsom salts before with no issues. You just need to be certain what the problem is and attack it. If you start floundering around with different meds you will have problems. Sounds to me like the Ornatum has internal Parasites. Good luck and I agree the longer you wait the harder it will be to cure it. I have no clue whats up with the festae. I would isolate the fish, do massive water changes and treat with Aquarium salt. Daily water changes may cure that.
RD's link is what i started with. but my fish quit eating so what i did is fed frozen bloodworms ,and what i did was thaw a couple cubes and put some metro on the thawed bloodworms,and then used some tank water mixed with epson salt put a little on the thawed bloodworms,and put it in the freezer. next morning that is all i fed. fish ate that stuff up. i also treated the water with meds i mentioned above.. i am all for salts they do a better job than most meds,but sometimes you need a bit more
prazi and metro treat different types of parasites. if i had to choose i would do the metro over the prazi,but they can be used together also
