Festae Pair- Bonnie -N- Clyde

Here is my newest pair of festae which ive had for i believe a couple of months now. This is my smallest pair that produces the fireball strain:naughty: When i first got them they were 4-4.5" and spawned immediately. 6 weeks later they spawned again but ate the eggs and the male went berserk so i divided them for a couple of weeks to chill out lol. I pulled the divider yesterday when i got home from work and took this video today after a water change. They have finally started to warm up to the camera:nilly: So i have this lil video and a few pics. I named them Bonnie and Clyde due to the fact that every time i came into the room they would run n hide lol. Now the female is 5-5.5" and male is 6.5 maybe 7" Thanks goes out to RoadRunner for these beauties:grinno: I should also be expecting a spawn from them very soon:popcorn:

You are very welcome my friend!:) You have four pairs of festae from me, soon to be three after you ship that large pair out to Darnell this week. You seem to fall in love with the last ones shipped every time. People don't believe me when I tell them that my festae are ready to breed when shipped! I try to tell them. It's that special juice!:naughty: You do such a great job after you receive your fish though.:thumbsup: Keep up the good work my friend!:D They are looking great!:grinno: They will look ten times better as they grow.

Great looking pair along with good growth! My 6 inchers seem like they've been the same size for 3 to 4 months. What size tank do you have this pair in?

Thank you, the pots work great:) im thinking about trying to do some sort of riverine theme, maybe blackwater for one pair to see how it looks.

I keep my pairs in 125's. i got this pair at 4-4.5" 6-8 weeks ago and now the males is pushing 7" and female is 5.5-6" i feed good and lots of water changes. it doesnt seem like the constant spawning has slowed any of my pairs down either:)
