I have two sponge filters rated for 125g each plus an AC110. I also do 2-3 water changes a week

They should not spend to much time in time out. Remember the beauty of all different size citrinellums. the best dithers ever. Throw couple of umbees in there and the festae should not kill each other. You have to work your pairs. Make them breed.

Well one female is still healing from a beatdown so its gonna be ahwile. the other pair spawned last week and they ate the eggs so the male started to put a beat down on the female so i divided them. each pair behaves differently and requires different care. usually i pull the divider a week later but this particular female wont be ready to spawn again for a few weeks so im in no hurry to pull the divider yet. I want her to condition up before i give them another chance

With you going to work for two weeks at a time, you should always keep dithers in there if you are going to leave them without a divider. Or you'll lose them. Take my word for it. That beat down is going to turn into a dead festae. I know what I am doing and been doing it for a long time. I am telling you what works. They will break your pocket and your heart at the same time. No dithers, No divider= dead festae!
