I do agree that sexing from a picture can be difficult because it's always possible someone captured a shot at a moment when the fish was being more aggressive or passive at the time and therefore showing coloration that matches the mood at the time. It's best to get a series of pics and even better a few pics from a few different days to be able to observe as much evidence as possible before making a determination.
