Thanks bro It won't be long before they spawn I just hope the male packs some more size he is really skinny. Female on the other hand is a crazy when feeding. male looks great as well but can't get decent pics if him.

Well guys I think They spawned last night or will spawn today. Her tube was pretty low last night and its still showing not sure if she laid the eggs already she didn't come out to eat today. Her and the male don't move from theyr'e spot. But if she did lay eggs shouldn't the male have barred up? Its driving me nuts I can't see if she laid the eggs or not

lol I know what you mean, anticipation sucks! My male never barred up but on the night she was going to lay eggs, he killed her. I guess from not spitting the eggs out fast enough. If she didnt eat, that probably means she laid them or will be laying them today. Gotta watch the behavior around the nest..
Well she did lay the eggs I just saw them. But I don't think the male fertilized them he is not barred up nor is his tube showing. I guess I will have to wait and see.
Never laid them as far as I knew. And first timers may not know what to do. I've had several first timers and the last dovii pair I had took them 4 tries over several months

quick update female laid eggs and its been 2 days and 80% of the eggs have gone white I dont think male fertilized them but Im sure they will get it right next time.
Have you ever tried using Maroxy?
My last batch, female laid eggs in a weird angle so male couldn't fertilize them all. Seemed to have a X shaped pattern where he did fertilize the eggs but others tuened white. Maroxy will prevent the fungus from spreading to fertilized eggs, which fungus can kill. I've heard others use Methylene blue, but I haven't trie that yet. Maroxy works for me.
