If it is a festae great pick up looking forward to the pics. But as for sexing it, there's no way in hell anyone can positively sex festae at an inch. Lol the description the guy told you on sexing is completely invalid bro. I dont trust any LFS period. My 6 year old son knows more than any of the people working at the fish stores around my area. I do hope you do have a festae and it does turn out to be a female. The smallest I've been able to sex festae is around 2.5" and that's by venting not by stripes or any patterns.
