My males never had a black dorsal after 4 inches.

with all that red, I have to say female.. I cant see male in it. Just a lil thick that's all.

its hard to see for sure but does it have blue spangling on the sides of its body? if it has spangling on its sides than its most def a male if not then female, this is def one of the harder ones to sex thats for sure lol (but thats good thing cus means you get the best colors from both sexes ) the one jslay posted don't have any spangling so that's its defining female characteristic, but looks kind of like yours does

Still think OP's fish is female, all that black in the dorsal.
You should try to breed it anyway, it's beautiful!!

nice female, but yeah see yours is really green but clearly has no spangling, its kinda hard to tell in the OPs pics...

I netted her out and moved her into my 125g. (I still don't know what to call it, him/her) I got an exact measurement and tried to take a closeup pic only to find the batteries were dead.

She's exactly 6 inches... Don't know if that changes anything...
