the occeli (black dot on tail arm) is alot bigger and more centered on uro/mayan then festae.

its not a festae. completely different species. theyre just confused between each other

Def urophthalmus.They get up to 12" (male) and grow fairly slow

im pretty sure those are not true festae. they are "false" red terrors aka the mayan cichlid. cichlasoma uropthalmus

Hello, thanks for comments. The most diference it´s the Y between the urophthalmus and festae, but some festae don´t have the famous Y. When they are young evolved the Y or apairs when they grows? I want to insure myself.
For example, in males often not show his lines, the females always, but in some cases, they don´t have the Y how. This festae almost they do not have Y
