That is a Festae that you got there, it does look male in those pictures because of lack of color, but it really depends on how big it is....how many inches is it?

he's about four inches or so, he does have some faint blue on the dorsal fin. i'll try to get a picture of it later on. on another note, any idea why festea are so hard to come by?
