Beautiful L183!!!
I have always liked the L007 and the L183. I have my L007 now and now I am looking into the L183.
Are they easy to come by? I have yet to see any in LFS here. What is a fair price for them? I also read they get around 5" or so. 29gl tank fair for them for life? or do you suggest 55gl? I can do either or.
Do they get along well with other plecos and do other plecos get along with them? My common for sure is moving to the 75gl I am getting.
My L007 may stay in the 55gl and would like to put a L183 with him. The L007 AKA James was being a total jerk in my tank but he has calmed down now and is getting along great with the other bottom dwellers.

They are pretty readily available, and not expensive. Remember they are pretty small little beasties though. They are a fantastic species, my favourite Ancistrus. They are a pretty docile species... but you might have to watch the agression the other way. They have become more popular recently. Glad the L007 has settled a bit.

They are readily available in my area... I paid $18.99 -10% for them. Great fish, somewhat reclusive and need caves. 29 would work for a few of them. Mine are in with a 6"SL L190 royal, 5" L090, 2" L104, and a whiptail. All relatively docile though.courtneem;938423;938423 said:
