FH color suddenly changed

yeah, im super excited too, you know i spent a lot of time by seating in-front of my aquarium, waiting for something looks like a going crazy

I do that too sometimes, just sitting in front of the tank hoping that the fh's colour & kok will pop.. hahahaa

got a better pic, he dig the gravel thats why the white gravels has been come out, i plan to change all the gravel with a darker colors of gravel like (red, brown, black & purple). its seem working, my FH colors is going better, i think he like those color of gravel

The redness is coming out nicely.. Now you make me wanna add some coloured gravels
but it's a lot of work for me.. maybe I'll think bout it when my frys get bigger..

Very nice, I just changes my gravel for my FH and notice a difference, it works.

yup agreed, its work, i think he is more comfortable of the black gravel thats why he coloring up...

This is just my own opinion, just tell if this is possible or impossible...
i am thinking that FH is a fresh water fish and their color is going nice or come-out defend to their sympathies, then in order to see their true color we should make them comfortabe, right? most of the gravel in the river or fresh water is black and the white gravel is from the sea, i think they are more comfortable white the black gravel..

That makes sense.. & on the + side, they get to play with the gravels as well..
IMO, the way to know if a fh is comfortable is by its stress bar.. If the fh display stress bar for too long, then something is not right either from its surrounding or the water has turned bad.. & another thing is to see if the fh is active or not..
A fh that actively swims around all the time is usually a happy fish unless it gets provoked.. lol
