Fh Food?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I say genetics.

If the fish is crap quality to begin with, no amount of quality fish food will turn it into a masterpiece.

Exactly.

And at the same time a fish with MP genetics can still look pretty spanky even on lower quality feed.

My staple is: Aequeon cichlid pellets...I pledge Allegiance to this http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.jsp?productId=4368183&lmdn=Brand

I love what you did to the saturation/exposure! It makes the fish look so fake! Sorry, I just had to say something ;)

LOL, I know but it cool, brings out psychadelic colors, but its easy to see that the pearlings/patterns are real.

Aquamojo, and everyone else does it to some degree, I just turn it up to a few more notches, LOL

Here is the REAL life reminder of a beautiful fish that lived long enough to give me some children.

So what, that fish that you raised on the excellent diet, is dead? LOL

LOL, I didn't claim excellent diet...I feed him high cholesterol and saturated fat HOT DOGS. Unfortunate turn of events, tomorrow you could be dead as well. We as living beings are set to die, even the immortal RD. We all know that death is not from diet only. The healthiest of human beings can still have high blood pressure and or cancer. However it doesn't make sense to take our fishes to the doctor for physicals.

LOL, I'll second that. The hot dogs probably did him in.

Me immortal? Not likely. lol

I just found it funny that you would use a dead fish as the poster child for the diet that you (used) to feed it.

Hehe, a poster child for Hot Dogs, LOL. Soooooooo, in a way, kids, DONT FEED YOUR FISHES HOT DOGS.

But yeah, I like cheap food that offer the same ingredients

It's not just the ingredients one should consider, but also the ratio of the various raw ingredients. You also generally won't find ingredients such as gluten meal or soybean meal, such as found in Aqueon, in higher quality foods.

Not to mention, Aqueon isn't exactly cheap food, even on sale as posted in your Petfart link it's $6.79 for 7.5 oz. In comparison, a 5lb (80 oz) pail of NLS can be had for $50.00

Eh? Not a fair comparison...Im sure Aqueon would be cheap in 50lb tubs too, er if they had 50lb tubs, LOL

Alright, back to feeding Hot Dogs I guess.
