I actually already thought about using sand..
I asked about using sand with FHs..
some say yay some say nay cuz they like to dig?

Does anyone else get toys for there FHs??
Herbert has marbles and things hehh.

Sand or gravel is fine, they will move both. Sand is just more of a pain in the a** for a big fish to move.

I've tried ping pong balls, fish don't play with them though. But they do like to play with my hand during waterchanges.. Not fun for me.

the first guy is incredible! what is that? a KK?

I don't know what a KK is but I think his first flowerhorn is a tan king.

On another note, I'd rather have a nice looking tank with a ugly fish in it rather than have those ugly plants and gravel (no offense.)

when its all said and done, my FH enjoys this bare bottom look best... by enjoy, i mean his colors are just perfect this way.

so it all comes down to either you aquascape to your liking or to your FH's liking. and when you aquascape to your FH's liking, it usually ends up being bright gravel, bare bottom, colorful back etc....

Wow that looks really nice and
clean...
I never thought id be a fan of the bare bottom..
but that actually looks good.. I guess the river rocks help some.
I mean they like to dig tho?
Uggh now i have more to decide
that although would be cheaper and easier.

I could always just keep his marble colection in there
for him to move around...?

hmmm thoughts..
