I used to have a polypterus collection in there, but sold them when I started getting into reptiles. I can't believe I almost sold this setup, I would've regretted it for a long time.
No it's actually a gravel but not the typical asymetrical fish store gravel, it's very smooth and eliptical, it's called 'Dreaming Sand'? I'm pretty sure it's imported from China, and i've only seen this brand at this one store.
I got it at a small 'secret' fish store that my friend told me about.
