My canister is leaking very badly. I completely disassembled it twice already. I unraveled the entire pump to check for anything wrong. I shut it off. I unprimed it. I disasembled it piece by piece. I looked for cracks clogs or malfunctions. NONE! I spent 2 hours in a 1 x 2 corner with my whole damn body jamned in with a flashlight in my hand looking for where the water is coming from. Have you ever tried to stick your WHOLE body in a 1 x 2 space? Id say the entire carpets are ruined and 3 days after we just refurnished it. You heard me! Yesterday my tank sprung a leak (fixed) with silicone. And my ebjd has ich!! My bristolnose died a week ago. My yellow lab has babies. My plants aren't doing very well. My diy co2 is completely non-functional. I accidentally ordered a live-plant package online TWICE! guess what! No refund!! The plants came in today 2 weeks LATE! And most were dead. I call... no answer! So I email them and I get an automated message saying 'were sorry for the inconvenience. If you would like to order again (link provided)' NO THANK YOU!

Man that is a freaking streak of bad luck. You may have tried this already but if you can wipe down and inspect the oring of the canister. If it is dirty or has a mark on it then it can leak, which can seep out and travel to a different spot, then appear. I had a leak like that a few times on my fluval 404. Then when putting it back together I gave it a new leak I discovered the next day. Turns out I knocked it over, which tugged on the hose, breaking the seal and creating a small leak that took me a LONG time to find. Good luck

I love my Renas, but I have heard that when you get a dud, leaking is the big issue. Make sure the O-ring is moist (use that oil all the companies sell or some vaseline), the trays are aligned and set properly and that the clamps are all working properly. If none of those are the problem and nothing has been damaged, you may have a dud.

This too shall pass.

Its been working great for 3 years straight though bought it used too... and one clamp is broken BUT that's never been a problem before. Its been working fine with that broken clamp for years.

And I think I found the leak but I'm still not sure... the problem is it starts leaking one minute and then it just stops leaking and it leaks in another area and then 5minutes later it starts leaking again. It goes on and off. I dont understand how a leak can do that:confused:??? I speak the truth.... btw the leak(s) is/are no where near the broken clamp. One appears to be directly under the spot where the electrical wiring goes. Don't worry its got the plastic stuff coated around it. The other is under the broken clamp. And the third is underneath the filter. All unconfirmed.

I just found out all my tanks have ich. My rubberlip has ich in the 20gal. One of them died and the other is completely covered in it. My ebjd has it everywhere he's gasping for breath might not make it :(. He's in 100gal. My parrot fish and datnoid might have a couple specs but unconfirmed. The rest have remained unaffected. I have been dosing past 48hours.

OMG! I have never seen so much ich on a fish! My ebjd is just coated with at least 5000+ white crystal specks! Its all near his gills and on all fins but the dorsal. His caudal fin looks like it was dipped in sugar!
