If you can't wait for salt and heat to work, coppersafe works well...it will be easier on your catfishes.

I know I've been dosing primafix past 48 hours. I think about 70% of the specks have dropped off. I think that means its reproducing and splitting into smaller ones. Funny thing is none of my catfish are affected except the one rubberlip that doesn't have it no more. I must note a second jd has become infested. I believe its called primafix it says its got this copper stuff and its for ich. And trust me I have the highest priority for my fish I would not relly on just salt and heat.

I think I fixed the leak. I used a crapload of silicone and the leak was confirmed to be directly on the electrical wiring. I'm just waiting for it to dry.

I hope for the Ich you increased temps up to 85 and added salt to the tank? do that simple fix. Saw you said you were doing some other stuff, I would still increase temps
Primafix doesn't work that well against iCh you need either dye based treatment or Coppersafe if you have scaleless fish.

Sorry bro hope every thing works out . I've never had ick that bad but salt and 85 degree s should do it but for the dempsey I would make a methalene blue bath or lesson the dose pending how big the hospital tank is and let him sit in it for a day or two worked for me I had I JAG that got the crap nocked out of him developed ick and a fungus on the cuts . Two day s all was gone. I use a 2.5 gallon air stone heater alittle salt about 9 drops methalene blue should turn water royal blue and good to go. Hope it helps.
