In my flowerhorn tank the filter I use came with the kit. It’s a 55g tank and the filter when the output hits the water in the tank it produces a bunch of bubbles. Is there any way to fix this or am I just going to have to deal with it? image.jpg

Raise the water level in the tank so the filter output doesn't have to fall so far.
Tried that but it still produced a fair amount of bubbles. I just don’t like it because the filter is on the side of the tank that be bed is on so when I look at the tank at night I just see bubbles galore

Same thing with mine. Unless it has a lowering flow switch, which it probably doesn’t, you can’t stop it. You may be able to reduce the bubbles by putting something tall in front of it So that it hits and flows down. You could also make a modified stream thing onto the filter if you really want it that bad.

Mine has a power switch on it but it just controls more or less bubbles ?. What could I put for it to fall onto?
