Filteration for 600 gallon

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
im using 2x dct15000 for my 480g very quiet.my dc12000 stopped working after two years, hopefully i can fix it.

Haha, I have only had them running on and off for about a month so I cannot speak on longevity, however they come backed by a 3 year warranty, so I would guess considerably more than 3 years.

Lol well that beats out jabeo dc pumps

Yep, It's hard to beat a 3 year warranty and 80 watts each. The only downside I have is that the pond "cage" they come in is a little bulky for my taste, but is keeps out large debris and protects the pump so I left it on. Otherwise these pumps are solid from what I can tell. You also may or may not be aware that all Laguna max flow pumps 2000 gph and over have a "smart flow" chip. While I do not trust it completely, it is supposed to actually change the volume of water the pump is pumping if it is more energy efficient to do so. Which means the power draw maxes at 80w, but supposedly could be less. This isn't a big selling point for me, but if it actually works then it would be nice to know my pumps could be using less than 80w each.

Thanks for the heads up ....for a 600 the less watts the better especially when it's in the basement and heating can be a pain
