filtration system for a 50 gallon fish tank

no they arent :swear: the same and the ones i bought r a lot tinier and they would be eaten.
 
Eheim classic 2217 + AC 70 works very well for my 55g.

I still fail to understand why you would buy these fish and not have a established filtered tank to put them in?
 
I would say a good mech, filter and a good canister! I like penguins 350 with the bio wheels and Ehiem brand Canisters!

2 emperor 400 and call it a day. or 2 ac110's but i have read alot about there pumps going out here lately or that they are hard to start back up after WC's. If you get one that works they are great filters.
