imo .. stay away from bargain basement canisters,, you can get a brand new xp3 from AMAZON FOR$105 ,, that's a very nice filter and does not have a tendancy to break.. lots of inexpensive filters are made with cheap plastic,,, if you are really looking to save $$ and get a good filter or 3 look at the penguin 350 on AMAZON ,,,,, AROUND $30 AND THEY ARE RELIABLE
