I just noticed that the above post is incomplete. It says what should I and it was supposed to say what should I do. I got a 100 watt heater today and I am going to start the salt treatment probably tomorrow.

Safe for the fish, or for the heater? I have a minnow, some feeder guppies and I think some mosquito fish. I can't tell the guppies and mosquito fish apart. The heater is 100 watts.
I have raised the water up to around 83 and I am going to get the salt today. The fish appear to be fine.
I forgot to post, but I lost the other minnow the night before last. It looked like the rot had spread to its body even though it was looking better. I still haven't added salt, but the ich looks like it is going away without the salt in the warmer temperature. All of the other fish look fine and I really have to spend a few minutes looking closely to see 1 ich spot on a fish.
