i have no experience with jars but from what i have read it will grow much faster than the dat so just be careful with that combo

i would say the concern will come in a year when the jar is much bigger than the dat.

I think if you keep them both well fed there shouldn't be a problem. My dat swims all day long with fish waaaay smaller than himself and edible size. I just keep him well fed. Your dat should grow relatively quick if he eats enough.

Yeah IMHO I think he will be fine too I just have doubts mabye it's just cause he is my first dat I really don't want him to die he is like 2 inches or 3 and the jar is like 6-7
