Thank you everyone! I am quite excited about it, I'll be sure to keep the updates coming and should have some new pic's soon.
They are all still doing well, no signs of disease/fungus or dead fry , I can see that there little bellies are full through those clear bodies so they are eating. Both parents are side by side defending them with no signs of aggression toward each other. Seems like I've made it past most of the hurtles and growth should be quite rapid so wont be long before they start looking a bit more like snakeheads and less like translucent tadpoles lol
I've made that trip many times, it's about 9-12 hours to Moncton depending on if you fellow the speed limits , Unfortunately there is a Ban on snakeheads in Quebec so i would not be able to ship you any.
Huge. Congratulations. I have a friend in Halifax, not an online guy, that would for sure be interested in a few once they are good to go. Please PM me as he would drive from Halifax for sure. When do you think they will be old enough to move?

Not completely sure, since so few people have raised them up from this size, but I'd bet within a couple months they will be plenty big enough. As for Halifax that would not be a problem, I actually know 2-3 people from Halifax who are interested in some so I will likely be doing a delivery up that way when the time comes! You have a PM...
No, not in Canada. Channa Striata is the only species regulated in all of canada, so would need special permissions to import/keep due to disease concerns. All other species are legal in Canada. The Provinces of Ontario, Quebec, and British Columbia have place provincial bans on ALL Channa and Parachanna species, but everywhere else is fine. (although It seems it's not currently enforced in BC since they were still getting imported after the laws changed)
