I finally got my 220 up and running! After doing the bottom glass, overflows, stand, and plumbing, I've spent the last 2 weeks trying to get the bugs out, and when I got up this morning, finally, no leakage from the bulkheads, and the feeders I dropped in are actually surviving! WOO HOO! I'm at work now, so I'll post some pics tonite. I'm pretty proud of myself for my first tank rebuild. Here's the DIY list:
Bottom glass replacement
Glass overflows
Stand
Sump
Spraybar
Plumbing
Now all I need are the substrate, lighting, and canopy. I'm getting the gravel tonite hopefully, and I'm doing the lighting with my paycheck from my second job which is supporting the money-draining effort. All of my ideas came from, where else, MFK!!!! Thanks guys and gals!!!
