Finally GATF

Little update here...

Well I got a late christmas gift.. A digital camera! Soo I've decided I will document my goliaths growth with pics for as long as he lives 3-4 times a month at least. So far the goliath swims slightly above the bottom menacingly glaring at the school of giant danio's and he has taken out 2 guppies I put in w/ the blood worms to get him exercise! I actually got to see him take down one of them which I thought was a good sign because many peoples wont eat in front of them even though I was standing a good distance back.
 
Mine was very skittish when I bought him too. I blacked out his tank and now he is all good. He is probably 6'' and he doesn't run or panic when I clean the glass with my tank scrubber.The only thing I dislike about these fish is there very very slow growth rate.
 
Well I agree about the growth rate but it kind of works out because I'll be going to college and I won't have to worry about him outgrowing his 220 probably while I'm in college. I blacked out the sides of the tank also... he still panics though but I'm not to worried cuz he's only 2.3-3 inches... One of the giant danios he's with is probably bigger then he is lol.
 
I got my ATF on Thursday from Jeff. Jeff said dont turn the strip light over the tank because they are skittish at first. He said he only uses the shop lights in his building. I fed him blood worms the first 2 days. Now I have him eating shrimp from the market,massivore delight pellets soaked in the blood from the worms. He is a ferocious eater. I have mine in a 55 gallon with 2 peacock bass I ordered from jeff. I am puttin him in my 200 gallon when he grows out some.
