Finally got an Ornate !!!

good lookin ornate dragonfish has alot more yellow in it then mine

just a guess from the over all body shape and the general color actually it could be female gonna need more pics to tell for sure

Is $30 for a 5 inch Ornate a good price? How much does it go for?

i'd say thats a great price for an ornate payed twice that for one a little bigger


Little update its eaten some wighting a few days ago and still has a large lunp in its belly from it it way real skinny its stomach was indented and now its some what flat hopefully soon it will plump up to a nice round poly mabye this will bring its pattern out added salt with the water change today so hopefully the eye cloud will go away soon

Not at the moment right now I haven't had time to go out and buy any meds so a little food in her belly and some salt is all i can do for know which is helping one eye was getting it a little but that eye cleared up and the other looks better i'll add some melafix which i hope will cure it right up but if its not gone in the next few days i'll buy some meds i just don't like useing meds a hole lot but won't think twice if its needed

Ornate a little hard to see but shes gaining weight

Senegal flying up and down the side of my tank as usuall he didn't like the flash and took off behind the driftwood as soon as i took a pic

Congrats on getting an ornate!! You've got some cool fish, I really like your dels pattern and the bright green color of your ropefish!

The ornate has a cool pattern to it too, glad to hear it's putting on weight because it was really skinny when you first got it.
