Finally got my self an RB

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
About how big is Pacman? I know he'd said males are more slender, and females heavier in the belly. I know when I brought Peek home "she" was too thin to tell either way, and now that she's filled out quite a bit, I may have to get her pic up to see what everyone thinks.

Congrats mate, here's a secret from the pros: get that guy on pellets and avoid feeding live, once a week throw a fillets or shrimp in but everyday or every other day throw half a dozen pellets in. NLS, Omega one are good brands!

I have hikari massivore pellets and frozen smelt is that ok?? or i have a range of cichlid pellets, hikari gold not sure if it will eat them though

it hasnt eaten since i put him in there yesterday is this normal??

i was told they were pigs lol

I'll PM you my number, I can only text pictures. It actually took Peek a few days to eat. I'd wait a couple more days and just start with a few pellets. I can promise you that Pacman won't starve him/herself. Peek weaned herself onto pellets because she couldn't catch the feeders I'd had leftover from the other fish, she got hungry, and pellets don't swim very fast lol

He has to acclimate to a new home, it can take fish weeks to eat, that's why u should wait a few days before offering food.

Just wait till Saturday and throw some pellets in, bet he will go buck wild on em!

Some driftwood and plants would look nice, and if you have access to large flat stones like slate or flagstones, you could always build a bigger cave.

i have a small peice of drift wood i might dril one big hole in the rosck instead of the 4 that are there, i have access to slate which i could make a cave out of?? what could i use to stick it together?? aquarium silicone??

i might just buy a big rooted piece of bog wood a few live plants and a plant pot of some sort??
