Yup. I started leaving the filter and hood open to let heat escape. I'm sure in the wild there are higher spikes in temp than this, so I'm sure they're capable of handling the occasional heat wave.


In the wild during the dry season the water drys up and the fish get stuck in small water pools where they eventually dry up as well, that's why rbp are such tough and hearty fish, they live in hot, low oxygen conditions, a lot of them die as well.
