Finally Got Some Hystrix!

Tried frozen bloodworms the first night and they didn't really eat any, tried market shrimp last night that they didn't eat either. However, I don't think the pieces were small enough. Tried some pieces of small nightcrawlers and they both ate a few pieces. I'm going to get some ghost shrimp tomorrow to try. I think the store I'm going to has live blackworms, so I may grab some of those, too. They are both a lot more active and the one has gotten even lighter in color.

You said you were getting a male and female, right? Or are you not sure of sex?

well, I think it's the male, lol. They're both swimming all over now. I'm planning on changing stands and doing a water change later today, so I'll take some pix after that.

Yeah, they're by themselves in a 40 breeder...probably going to stay in there until they grow a little and can go in the 300. Thanks! I'm just using some prazipro and a little melafix...they seem really healthy.
