FINALLY GOT THE 125g TANK!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Oh yeah, forgot to mention the best part about the tank..waiting 6 weeks for it, upon receiving it and unpacking the bubble wrap..i see a scratch on the freaking tank! WTH!:WHOA: So I call up the lfs Petland and ***** to them..that it took 6 weeks..and it comes with a freaking scratch.

They tell me, that they can order me a new tank..but will take no more than 4 weeks! Yeah, right...like I'm going to wait *4 weeks*--meaning another 6 weeks. So I get them to give me a $50 credit..not much as I would hope for..but what the hell..better than nothing.

The scratch is not that noticeable unless you stick your face right up to the tank. At first I thought it was a crack..then rubbing on it..realized it was a scratch on the outside and was minor.

Well with that credit, bought some more gravel, air line clips, 2 packs of frozen krill and some various items.:naughty:

Couple of updated shots. Tank now has some driftwood...still waiting for 2 more pieces to be completely soaked and tannis removed. Also, threw in the two tinfoils that was in my 55g to push the cycle a wee bit faster. Tank has been up for about 3 weeks, threw in a pack of bio spira, so now letting these two tins finish off the process.

The other pics are of a Crestron TouchPanel that I will incorporate into the cabinet stand. This will control both tanks, pumps, lights, moon lights. Thru the crestron system, I have the lights automated to come on and off at certain times, immediately when the main light goes off, the moon lights will kick on. The panel will be mounted center of the tank cabinet for ease of getting to. I will need to water proof it too. :irked:

Hopefully soon I will incorporate the tank temp readings into it also, and possibly the Ph readings from my ph monitors. :naughty:

Looks great

Thanks. Now if I can set up a self cleaning tank which drains and fills itself that would be sweet. :grinno:
I'd get a patent on that and use the money to get a bigger house, to house bigger and more tanks. :naughty: :headbang2

Wow! Great job! What fish are going in there besides the jar?

:grinno: Arowanas of course.

And the two tinfoil barbs I have in it now. I would put a few more fishes in there, but god forbid...I'll be hearing "Dude, your tank is way overstocked", etc..etc...

I'm going to build another w/d (20g Long) and put it next the one I have in the cabinet now. This way I can shut down one and have the other running while doing maintenance.

So, I should have about 12gallons of bioballs, and 6 liters of the Azoo bio glass (3 liters in each W/D).:naughty:

WoW...Nice:headbang2 :headbang2 :nilly: :headbang2 :headbang2
