I hope I can find more and keep them all. My tat sheds his teeth as well but Ive never found them, most likely because they are nearly clear as opposed to the armatus' white teeth.
He is doing good, and damn is he growing FAST!

Honestly the price is what was holding me back for so long, but its worth it. Definitely the coolest fish I have owned.
This fish has the exotic predatory look of most large characins, but unlike other characins they have the robust attitude and hold their ground like cichlids!
He is in a 125 for now. Like I said they are not skittish so I feel that unlike an ATF for example that darts across the tank at the lightest disturbance, the armatus could comfortably live in there until he is 12" or so.
